Being lesbian is not gay just good taste
How do I comprehend if I am gay or lesbian?
Many people are brought up to think that everyone is sexually attracted to people of a different gender than their own. However, this isn’t the case. Lots of people are attracted to the identical gender or more than one gender, and this is absolutely fine.
Gay is the word used to describe someone who is only attracted to the same gender. It can be used to describe someone of any gender, but sometimes same-sex attracted women might select to be referred to as lesbians. People who are attracted to more than one gender often identify as bisexual or pansexual.
How do I realize if I’m queer , lesbian or bi?
Some people know what their sexuality is from a very young age, but some people aren’t so sure. It can be tough to know if you’re gay, sapphic, straight, bisexual or something else, and there’s no definite way to know, it’s just how you feel.
If you’re a man and you’re only attracted to other guys, then you might be gay. If you fancy other guys, feel excited when you think about them, masturbate to thoughts of them, and want to date and possess relationships with them, this could be an indicator that you’re gay.
If you’re a woman and you’re only attracted to other
Camille Paglia identifies herself as a lesbian and a pagan. She must be one of the most attention-craving, histrionic activists to burst upon the general in recent years. But she also writes brilliantly, scorching those of whom she disapproves with a rare wit, literacy, and use of language.
One would think it surprising that there might be any similarity between Ms. Paglia's perspectives, and those of many NARTH members on such a bitterly contentious issue as homosexuality.
But an essay on homosexuality by Ms. Paglia in her latest book, Vamps and Tramps* provides remarkable support from a most unexpected quarter for many of the views that some of us have held, and often expressed, for many years.
I would like to note a few of the many comments made by Ms. Paglia, with which I believe stern students of homosexuality will agree. Readers will also pick up a minor flavor of Ms. Paglia's colorful use of language.
(The comments that follow the quotations, in italics, are my own.)

Let's get something straight: Iggy Azalea is not a "fake lesbian." In an era where pseudo bisexuality is all the rage, and though her YouTube breakthrough was basically an anthem for female genitalia, Australia's rising rap star (real name Amethyst Amelia Kelly) refuses to admit that she kissed a girl and liked it.
Doing it her control way, songs off Azalea's long-awaited debut, "The Brand-new Classic" – the autobiographical rags-to-riches "Work," and the boasting liberation single "Fancy" – showcase a fierce fighter who's resilient, empowered and ready for rap domination.
After several delays, how does it feel to finally obtain this album out?
Definitely a relief. I ponder people's interest and assist of "Fancy" came as a bit of a surprise. I didn't foresee it being as embraced as it has been on radio, so I think I've been very lucky in my situation leading up to my album. I'm very glad at the moment to be putting (the album) out and feeling appreciate, yes, it's finally out, but also I hold a song that's doing well and getting radio play, which is something that I never usually get, so I'm very excited.
You've been embraced in the gay society since the beginning, w “You can pick out fags in a diner because they always order BLTs.” My acquaintance Joe told me this when I was 10 years old. He had only just explained what “fags” were. Now he was telling me what they ate. “Of course fags will eat cheeseburgers, omelettes, pancakes,” said Joe. “But if they contain a choice, they’ll always order BLTs.” I remember feeling alarmed because I loved BLTs. Joe was nearly a year older than me and infinitely more sophisticated in worldly manners. Although I didn’t quite believe that foods could signal sexual preference, I had to agree that the BLT was a dubious invention: not quite a sandwich, not quite a salad, and displaying suspicious shifts of register. As if to attract attention to its dramatic self, the BLT was usually cut on the diagonal and skewered on toothpicks with curly plastic bits of frill. The more I thought about it, the more I believed Joe was right. The BLT was definitely queer. Did my family understand about BLTs? Perhaps they already suspected odd tendencies in my psychosexual makeup. I stopped ordering BLTs. They became an occult pleasure, something I made for myself. I took the BLT with me into the closet. Baked Alaska by Stef Rubino When the excessive overlords who dash Spotify announced that Joni Mitchell's discography was going to be available on the app, I'll admit I wasn't very familiar with her work - other than knowing she is beloved by other gender non-conforming people. Growing up, I was surrounded by music but my parents' tastes were specific, and I kind of followed suit. As a result, there are some older artists who I heard sometimes but never in their entirety and never enough to argue them in any serious way. For a harmony appreciator like me, some of these blindspots were a little embarrassing, so I came up with a self-imposed ongoing homework assignment I have simply titled "Discography Project." The Discography Venture rules are simple: I pick an artist from my ever-expanding list and I listen to their discography - including live albums, special collections, and remasters - in chronological order. I also read criticism of the albums and try to gather any and all context regarding their creation. Due to some initial judgments, Mitchell was pretty far down on my
