Cruising on Hampstead Heath

This is an extended version of an elderly post which seemed to go down well. Bit more detail in this version.

Those of you who follow me on Twitter realize I love to walk over Hampstead Heath. It’s such a beautiful place, an oasis of green in the middle of a massive city. But as well as its wholesome side – the dog-walkers, joggers and families having fun – the Heath also has a more seedy reputation.

Tucked away behind Jack Straws Castle – once a pub, now luxury apartments – is the homosexual cruising area. I’ve only ever been once, many years ago when I was in my mid-twenties. I went on impulse with a guy I knew from a bar in Camden Town.

The guy was the chef at the bar, which I frequented regularly. I was free at the occasion and living in a bedsit some twenty-minute walk away. The bar and its assortment of eccentric staff and punters offered more of a sketch than my dingy room with its leaking shower.

I’d heard about The Heath, and I was curious. As he drove me there, my companion for the trip suggested that we become each other warned up once we arrived. He was talking about acting oral sex on each other to get us both in the mood. I wasn’t att

7 British Monarchs Who May Have Been Gay

For centuries men lived in one sphere and women in another and they would come together for marriage and having children. It seemed that the sexes co-existed mainly to endure the human race. Adore and sex can be very different factors but, when put together, they can produce the most electric sensation. This was no different for kings and queens who were close to their favourites.  There are several British monarchs who may own been gay. In reality, six kings – and one queen are reflection to have been same-sex attracted, members of what we now call the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bi- and transexual) community. They include:

William II of England

The son of William the Conqueror, who took the throne of England in 1066, was known as William Rufus because of his red hair (‘rufus’ definition red). William II became King of England in 1087 and was often described as ‘effeminate’ and with a keen interest in fashionable young men.

Edward II of England

Perhaps the most well-known of the homosexual kings, Edward II became King of England in 1307. He spent much of

Datingisdifficult in general, but gay dating is even harder.

Being gay adds another level of complexity to the virtual dating process, and because we’re all men, we make this process of looking for a mate all the more difficult. Our walls are high, our hearts are guarded, and we’re still all figuring out exactly what we’re looking for because for many of us, we didn’t see what we’re trying to form growing up.

As someone who longs for love, I’ve tried to really investigate what it is that makes internet dating as gay men more complex, and this is what my personal history has concluded.

1. We’re all sex monsters.

We are first and foremost men, which means most of our libidos race high, but then add to the equation the proof that we’re internet dating other men, and bam. I don’t care who you are, or how you identify yourself (Bear, Twink, Jock, Daddy, etc), we’re all constantly horny. It literally is scientifically driven due to the evidence that we contain testosterone pumping through our bodies.

Add to the evidence that our customs is obsessed with imagery and sex, and it becomes almost impossible to escape thoughts of sex. Even if you’re able to find yourself not so wound up, there’s a pleasant chance y

The Gay Court of Louis XIV

By Dr. Bill Lipsky–

During that great era of gracious courtiers and chivalrous cavaliers known as the Age of Louis XIV (1638–1715), the conduct of the men at court who loved each other was largely ignored, unless their affair became un grand scandale. Hostile to both royal edict and canon law, the Grand Monarch, who disapproved of such goings-on, tolerated it in his inner circle. After all, to do otherwise would possess meant exile or prison for some of his closest relatives.

Whether understood as le beau vice or disparaged as le vice Italien, those relatives included the king’s own father Louis XIII (1601–1643), established as “Louis the Chaste” because there is no evidence that he ever had a mistress. He much preferred the companionship of his male attendants, developing “an intense passionate attachment” first with his equerry, François de Baradas, then with Charles d’Albert, his falconer, whom “he visited at all hours of the day and night.”

Louis XIII’s last immersive involvement was with Henri Coiffier de Ruzé (1620–1642), Marquis de Cinq-Mars, who unwisely plotted against the powerful Cardinal Ri

As with so many aspects of Alexander the Great’s story, to accurately put the context of his life and actions it’s fitting to begin with those of his father King Philip II of Macedon. It was Philip that turned the Kingdom of Macedonia from one on the brink of collapse into the dominant power in the Core Mediterranean. It was Philip that laid the foundations which Alexander built upon when forging his massive empire.

And so when it comes to Alexander’s sex life too, we must first talk about Philip’s. In some ways, their sex lives proved similar, particularly when it came to the perform of polygamy and the diplomatic importance Macedonian monarch marriages could serve. But in other ways, their sex lives proved very different.

In this article we’ll highlight various amorous stories associated with the promiscuous Philip.

Rise of Macedon

Although his story is often overshadowed by the heavily-mythologised one of his legendary son, King Philip II was one of antiquity’s huge monarchs. During his 23 year reign, it was Philip that transformed Macedon into the most strong kingdom in the Pivotal Mediterranean.

Philip accomplished this through various actions. Militarily, he
