Was augustus gay
Here, Have A List Of Bisexual Roman Emperors
Tiberius: After moving to Capri it is recorded that he held orgies there where “both sexes were present”. Idc if it’s part of a fetish; if the fetish involves someone of the same gender, i will consider that evidence enough.
Domitian: Accused by Seneca of being “serviced” by his male cupbearer, Earinus.
I’ll provide you Claudius - I believed I mixed him up with one of the many people to have Claudius in their name, probably Nero.
Vespasian and Titus were on the disputed list because there is only modern speculation, and little or no evidence in historical sources. All of this is speculation, really, as concepts of bisexuality, heterosexuality, homosexuality and asexuality didn’t occur. But I believe I may have marked Vespasian as disputed because of a rumour regarding Josephus, or possibly because of military service and the prevalence of military homosexuality during that period? I can’t remember Titus’ origin at all, this was written about three years ago.
Julius Caesar is not on this list because he is not considered a roman emperor. The empire truly began with the formation of the Principate by Augustus. Caesar preda

Right it wasn't, but I'm saying it seems like he was homosexual not bisexual
Well, this would be wholly inaccurate, as Augustus Caesar had documented relations with not one, but three wives, and those relations even overlapped with each other (wives one and two). So he's clearly at LEAST bisexual.
As far as homosexuality is concerned, there's no real evidence of this beyond a close connection with Agrippa and the fact that he didn't make a child with his second wife, Livia, to whom he was married for more than 50 years.
Then there's the proof that he launched a morality crusade during his govern to restrict prostitution, adultery and homosexuality in the Empire, which of course, failed. To me, this is probably more indicative that he partook in such behavior, because as history has shown time and time again, we are what we hate.
Unfortunately, that can only be inferred, not proven.
So we own proven heterosexual exercise, and possible bi or homosexual task.
I won't
It’s surprising just how many Roman Emperors could be defined in today’s terms as LGBT. So, what are the stories and can we confirm the facts two thousand years later. Well, let’s leave through a list of Roman Emperors who were in same-sex relationships and were very definitely neutrois. It’s a jaw-dropping list!
Kicking off the LGBT Roman Emperors list…with Julius Caesar
Julius Caesar: The Roman poet Catullus sarcastically commented that Caesar was “the husband to every woman and the wife to every man”. As a immature man, the future dictator of Rome spent day on military campaigns in Asia Minor (modern Turkey). The kingdom of Bithynia was a client declare of the empire and Julius spent what was widely felt to be an inordinate period of time with its ruler, King Nicomedes IV.
Much older than Julius Caesar – and unfavourably portrayed as a lecherous geriatric ruling in the decadent East and coveting the youthful Roman. This sexual liaison was used as propaganda back in Rome against the ambitious Caesar. Suggesting that he had gone ‘native’ while out in the East and succumbed to all that sleaze and corruption. Allowing
Homosexuality in ancient Rome
During the time of the Republic, Roman citizens had the right (libertas) to protect their bodies from physical coercion, including both corporal punishment and sexual violence. Roman society was typically patriarchal and masculinity was based on the principle of governing not only oneself but also other persons, especially those from the lower class.

It was socially acceptable for a free-born Roman to have sex with a woman or a male assuming a dominant role. Both women and adolescent men were perceived as natural objects of want. Outside of marriage, a man could have sex with slaves, prostitutes (who were usually slaves) and the so-called infames (the restricted man). It did not matter with which gender the Roman indulged in until he did not exceed certain social norms. For example, it was immoral to hold sex with another citizen’s free-born wife, his daughter by marriage, his underage son, or the human himself.
During imperial times, the fear of losing political freedom and submitting to power to the emperor led to an enlarge in the frequency of free-born men assuming a passive position du

Yea another Rome thread, I've been studying Rome and it's bringing out these old questions in my mind.
Anyway, Caesar Augustus/Octavian/Gaius Julius Caesar, ruled Rome for 40+ years and although he was married for something like 50 years as adv, he only ever had one living child (a daughter). Meanwhile he seems to have been overly close to his second in command/eventual Son-in-law Marcus Agrippa, giving him power, input, and even a chime at one signal.
Now male-male sex was nothing novel or crazy in Rome, it was really common actually, but having homosexual sex didn't feel to make you considered "gay" by Roman standards. But to me at least, it seems like Augustus may have actually been attracted to men and not to women, mainly Agrippa
