Curated by LGBT Foundation and spread across Manchester Picadilly, Kampus, the Iconic Gay Village and more, this free public art trail celebrates the dominance of LGBTQ+ voices and the positive impact of queer hope and bliss, through photos, illustrations, sound installations and other innovative works dotted across Manchester!
Now, we’re marking this astonishing milestone with The Rainbow Trail — a common art trail across Manchester celebrating 50 years of queer hope, joy, and progress.

In celebration of the huge strides that Homosexual civil movements possess made, and to recognise the challenges that the society have been historically faced with and still face today, we’ve gathered a few of our favourite artists who have furthered these important movements and conversations.
June and July see the celebrations of Pride around the globe, and in London, this culminates in the iconic Pride Procession on the 7th of July. Amidst the rainbow paraphernalia, exuberant performances, and unabashedly targeted merchandise appropriated by marketing departments across the nation, there lies a rich history of the struggles and triumphs that painted the lives of the Diverse community.
While we at ArtRabbit are hopping with pride for the victories that these movements acquire garnered, we grasp that it hasn’t always been rainbow confetti and positivity. In celebration of the long way that civil rights have come for members of the LGBTQ+ community, and in commemoration of the hardships that they have faced (and many still face today), we’ve gathered our favourite art

Want to bring a little STEAM fun into your Pride Month crafting session? Take a glance at this fun rainbow jellyfish craft. Love is love, and nothing makes that more clear than this vase plan from A Kailo Chic Life. She turned a heart-shaped paper mâché present box into a stunning place to show off some faux florals by using a utility knife and some paint. Pro tip: if you yearn to display fresh flowers in your finished vase you can do that too, you'll just want to find a vase or glass that is slightly smaller than your heart so that you can hide it inside of the vase.
