Yuengling supports lgbtq
Half of America's bestselling beers have partnered with Diverse groups or advocates according to an analysis by Newsweek, as conservative activists launch a boycott of Bud Light over its partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
On Sunday Mulvaney shared a video promoting Bud Light to her 1.7 million Instagram followers, as part of a partnership with the organization, which she thanked for sending over a personalized beer can to commemorate her "day 365 of womanhood," after transitioning.
This infuriated some right-wing commentators, including writer Matt Walsh and podcast host Mike Crispi, who announced they will boycott Bud Light in response. Musician Kid Rock posted a video of himself shooting Bud Beam cans, while country painter Travis Tritt said he was taking the beer off his tour rider.
Over the past few years, a fierce debate has developed over transgender rights, with a particular emphasize on whether trans women should be able to access women's only spaces and take part in women's sports. Republicans hold moved to ban gender-affirming care for children in 26 states across the U.S.
While conservative campaigners are focusing on Bud Clear, Newsweek found that
As America’s Oldest Brewery, we’ve seen our fair share of ups and downs and uncertain times since 1829. From the Great Depression to Prohibition and World Wars, our brewery and this country have faced a great deal. And if we’ve learned anything from the generations that came before us, it’s that we have a responsibility to help those who have lifted us up for all these years.

Dave Perruzza’s Boycott of Yuengling Goes Viral
Call it the Great D.C. Beer Boycott.
Following in the steps of gay men who once boycotted Coors beer and Florida orange juice, local D.C. bars are now shunning Yuengling beer after owner Dick Yuengling endorsed Donald J. Trump for president.
David Perruzza, the manager of JR.’s Bar & Grill, sparked the movement by posting a video of himself literally removing Yuengling’s beer tap.
“So, Richard Yuengling and his company experience they should support Trump,” Perruzza says in the video. “Well, this is a gay bar. And I am a lgbtq+ bar manager, and we do serve Yuengling, but, from this point on, because Trump has Pence, and Pence is one of the biggest idiots ever, and very anti-gay, probably one of the most anti-gay politicians ever, I am doing this.” He then unscrews the tap head.
“We’re saying ‘bye’ to Yuengling at JR.’s. Just so you understand, when people support things that don’t support us, we don’t support them. So, goodbye, Yuengling, you are the weakest link.”

Trump Endorsement Leads to Plea for Yuengling Boycott at Gay Bars
Brian Sims, a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, is calling for LGBTQ bars in Philadelphia's "Gayborhood" to discontinue their sales of Yuengling beer after the owner expressed his support for Donald Trump.
Eric Trump, son of the Republican presidential nominee, visited a Yuengling brewery in the swing state of Pennsylvania earlier this week, accompanied by Richard Yuengling Jr., president and owner of Yuengling, a corporation that has been in his family for five generations.
"Our guys are behind your father. We require him in there," Yuengling told Eric Trump at the end of his visit.
Sims took to Facebook to express his wrath that such a well-liked beer in the city's "Gayborhood" would throw its support behind "a person and an ideology that says that our lives and our loves matter less."
Sims commented on that same post hours later noting that two bars, U Bar and TavernOn Camac, were canceling their orders for Yuengling and ending their business with the brewer.
Sim's decision to boycott stems from what is widely perceived as an anti-LGBTQ GOP platform and a less-than-inclusive footpath reco

Already recognized as one of America’s most popular breweries, Yuengling has also develop the country’s largest American-owned brewery. To celebrate, Yuengling wants to recognize the city that has played a very significant role in supporting it for decades with free lager. At 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 28 during “National Drink Beer Day,” Philadelphians who are 21 and older are invited to receive a free bottle of lager and a personal thank-you from fifth-generation President and Owner Dick Yuengling.
“Ever since my great-great grandfather brewed our first bottle of beer in 1829, Philadelphians have been supporting us and pushing us to grow,” says Yuengling. “The truth is, without Philadelphia, we simply would not be where we are today. The city has truly shown our family business brotherly cherish, and we’d prefer to raise a glass to that. Now that we’re the largest American-owned brewery, it’s moment we say thanks in the most appropriate way – with a Lager on us.”
